Culottes
Although we haven’t thawed out from winter, it’s time to start thinking spring fashion trends. Culottes have been popping up everywhere from the runway to street style. Depending on the length and design they can come off almost as a midi skirt. While I haven’t tried this trend on just yet, I think this is a look left for the leggy ladies around town and not work appropriate.
I love this look from Topshop and their take on this new style. The monochrome color is a great way to step out in a new silhouette. Pair this outfit with neutral accessories and you’re off to a ladies only brunch at Le Diplomate. This ultra feminine look is a great way to transition into spring. What are your thoughts? Converse Slip On’s
Slips on Vans are a huge trend for both men and women this spring. They are the perfect weekend shoe to run out for coffee and a District Doughnut! There are so many different options on color and style. For the guys I suggest the darker hues with a canvas finish like this J.Crew pair.
For spring, I am lusting over this pair from J.Crew Factory, the finish and color is on trend but not too bold that they are a “one outfit” shoe.
Ear Cuffs
The ear cuff is a trend that I have wanted to try for a while. I think this is a great way to pump up a plain tee, jeans and pumps with a cute jacket for date night or drinks. You can add a little edge to any look, but when you do ‘cuff-it’ make sure to keep the rest of your accessories subdued.
