This Saturday: DC Wine Fest at Big Chief in Ivy City

The District’s favorite celebration of all things wine returns this Saturday, September 15, when the DC Wine Fest welcomes vino lovers to Big Chief. The eighth edition of this elevated wine tasting experience features unlimited samples of all the wines, plus simulations, giveaways, live music and interactive art. 

The event features 16 wineries pouring over 50 wines, plus new programs like SipTip and WineGame to help guests pinpoint their favorites. The event will feature delicious international wines from Spain, Turkey, France, Germany, and Argentina, plus wineries hailing from Oregon, California and Washington for a worldly experience. The tickets include unlimited wine samplings, plus refreshments from Hubert’s Lemonade. Food is available for purchase from Talk of Di Town and Crepeaway. Wine accessories will come from Grapeseed Passion.

This year’s festivities expand a bit beyond wine with Charm City Meadworks (Baltimore, MD), Distillery Lane Ciderworks (Jefferson, MD) and The Bruery (Orange County, CA).

s. The sessions begin at 12:00pm, 3:30pm and 7:00pm. Full bottles will be available for sale on site, so guests
can take their favorite wines home with them.

Tickets begin at $39.00 and include unlimited samples of the wines plus Hubert’s Lemonade drinks.
