Back again for its third year, Ice Yards -DC’s original adult winter wonderland event- returns this Sunday, February 26. Between 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. the adult only event features live music, ice activities and games, a DIY snow cone bar, frozen hot chocolate, frozen hurricanes, and for those eager to make the leap to spring, Frose.
With the largest anticipated turnout yet, Ice Yards has relocated to the The Yards boardwalk this year. The boardwalk will house ice bars, igloo pods, local restaurant vendors, games and the largest group shotski in DC. DJ Jerome Baker, DC’s beloved White Ford Bronco and Jeff from Accounting will set up stages there too.

Tickets are $10 and include admission and one drink upon entry. Find all the frozen fun at 355 Water Street SE, Washington DC 20003. The Yards boardwalk is metro accessible; use the Navy Yard stop on the Green Line or the Capitol South stop on the Orange/Blue line. Parking is available at one of The Yards’ lots.
