Susheria Brings Japanese and Peruvian Fusion to Georgetown

Susheria, Georgetown’s newest eatery, brings the concept of fusion to all aspects of the restaurant. Not only does it combine the bold flavors of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, it also brings the glam of fine dining to a casual experience.

Tuna Poke
Lomo Saltado Roll

Boasting a noteworthy happy hour with $6 drinks and maki rolls, Susheria soars with fresh seafood and creative small plates. The tuna specifically left our eyes bulging as we went back for bite after bite of the succulent sea treat.

Spider Roll
Calamari Tempura

We’re excited for this new addition so close to the water in Georgetown, but each dish did leave a little too much salt in our mouths. We hope the Izakaya/Tapas spot will focus on the freshness of the sea and less on the sea itself as it warms up to its new home in DC.

Fried rice cakes topped with spicy tuna.
