It’s Finally Pool Season at VIDA’s Penthouse Pools and Lounges

The clouds are clearing, temperatures are rising, and VIDA’s Penthouse Pools are opening for the summer – this time with an all new food and beverage menu created by veteran DC chef, Sean McIntosh. Starting this Friday, April 28th, members will have access to the Penthouses’ pools, cabana service, fire pits, and day beds, while feasting on fresh summer bites like the crab and avocado tower, veggie sushi, strawberry quinoa salad, and much, much more.

The Penthouse Pools and Lounges are urban oases where guests and members can hang out while taking in the panoramic capital views. At night, the Penthouse vibes are kicked up with some glowing stone fire pits and color-changing lights in the pools. Deluxe VIP cabanas featuring personal TVs, refrigerators, and safes are available at The Yards location, and a separate, private sun deck is available for reservation at the U Street location.

Before joining the Penthouse, Chef McIntosh worked under James Beard award winner, Chef Bob Kinkead, and opened Clyde’s at Gallery Place and Irish Whiskey Public House. He also spent four years as the Executive Sous Chef at the University Club and was the Executive Chef for Matchbox Chinatown. He is blending the flavors and techniques of his extensive culinary background to the Penthouses’ unique venues.

Refreshing cocktails, like this Ginny Hendrick’s, with Hendrick’s gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh squeezed lime juice, and fresh cut cucumber, will keep you hydrated in the DC summer sun.
