The 2018 Critic’s Choice Awards were Thursday and the comedic night was full of fun and fashion. The Critic’s Choice Awards tend to be a more casual night, which allows for the fashion choices to be risky and exciting. Last night’s red carpet did not disappoint! Worst Dressed Winner
For obvious reasons, Chris Sullivan had to take the crown for Worst Dressed winner of the night. The This Is Us star was clearly not aiming for acceptance in this fish-bone suit. He was having fun with this quirky choice. I give him props for his bold choices and I actually love his sunglasses! But for an esteemed award show, I think a beautiful, well tailored suit with just a hint of quirkiness, would have been a great choice for him.
Best Dressed Winner
There were SO MANY fun choices for Best Dressed. This dress on Angelina Jolie has really split critics down the middle. Some love it and some hate it. I loved it! She has chosen feathers for her last two award shows and I am such a fan. I thought this color was so beautiful on her and the fit was literally PERFECT. Her velvet shoes and red lips were a great seasonal nod to the winter months. I feel like the entire look was bold, but carefully chosen and it was my most memorable of the night.
