Eatbar is the Bar to Eat At

From the creative team that brought you Red Apron Butchery and the Partisan comes their new and swanky Barracks Row spot, Eatbar. Just a block from the Eastern Market metro stop is your next stop for after work drinks, noms, and yes, great happy hour deals. Intimate and trendy, yet laid back with a jukebox, Eatbar is ideal for all groups and occasions.

Eatbar is also sure to please any taste buds. As they like to put it, they are home to “snacky things, meaty things, beastly things, a hundred wines, way too many beers, stiff drinks, and a killer jukebox.” I personally was a big fan of their wine selection (Thanks Tripp for the stellar recommendations). Not a wine fan? That’s alright, with numerous hand crafted cocktails and over 50 beers to choose from, I’m sure you will find just the right thing.

Great drink options - wine, beer, and unique liquors.
Great drink options – wine, beer, & unique liquors – almost as good as their music selection

While drinks are oh so important, my favorite part of any bar is good food. Eatbar has a solid selection of foods perfect for sharing. Broken up into little bites, sandwiches, grilled meats, vegetables, and charcuterie/cheese boards at reasonable prices, I was sold. There is nothing better than quality food that doesn’t break the bank.

To top it all off, I must say that Eatbar truly had an impressive staff – very welcoming, knowledgeable, and speedy in service. They definitely added to the experience.

With that, I advise you head to Eatbar now, while they still have this salivating worthy summer menu – it’s perfect for an after work pick-me-up or late night dinner.

Eatbar is open Monday-Thursday from 4pm-midnight, Friday 2pm-2am, Saturday noon-2am, and Sunday noon-midnight.
