Salamander Resort & Spa invites you to celebrate the longest days of the year and Virginia’s finest beverage makers at the resort’s second annual Twilight Tastings event on Saturday, July 22, 2017.
Hosted at Salamander’s Equestrian Center, the Twilight Tastings will showcase more than 12 local beverage makers with the best wine, beer and spirits. The resort’s culinary team will be presenting an array of favorites to compliment the beverages, including BBQ Baby Back Ribs and Country-Style Mac & Cheese. Guests can enjoy the food and beverage offerings while listening to the live musical performances from the “Songs of Nashville” tour for the final touch to the summer evening bash. Tickets can be purchased for $85 for all-you-can-enjoy beverage tastings and food, and $45 for all-you-can-enjoy food.
To compliment the array of beverage offerings, Salamander’s culinary team, lead by Executive Chef Ryan Arensdorf, will be presenting a selection of favorite delicacies including BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Country-Style Mac & Cheese and Key Lime Mousse Verrines.
Along with providing guests with superior food and refreshing libations in a beautiful and natural setting, Twilight Tastings will feature live music performances from artists on the “Songs from Nashville” tour. The tour includes four featured performers from the Nashville songwriter community – each with their own unique southern style. Preforming as part of the “Songs from Nashville” tour is Marc-Alan Barnette who has opened for artists such as Charlie Daniels and Garth Brooks, David Mininberg, who holds a dedicated fan base throughout Virginia and West Virginia; Eric Haines, a featured artist of Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Café; and John Carroll, who has been a finalist in a number of national songwriting competitions.
