Whiskey Charlie is The Canopy Hotel’s premium rooftop cocktail lounge at The Wharf. Whiskey Charlie opened in October 2018 with their indoor lounge, known as ‘The Cabin’. The Cabin offers a lounge-y feel with urban design and unique DC views. They offer exceptional cocktails, wines, local craft, draft beers and a menu that utilizes local ingredients and features an ample variety of snacks and small plates, from charcuterie boards to sliders.
There is no doubt that on a chilly night this isn’t a great place to cozy up and enjoy awesome views.
However Whiskey Charlie just officially opened their rooftop deck which you might have to fight over to get a spot, as it is cute, cozy, has awesome views and is perfect for pretty much every DCer. This 10th floor rooftop deck extends to showcase views of the cityscape with a spotlight on The Capitol building, to the other ends gorgeous views of DC’s waterfront.
Whether you are looking to bask in the sun, enjoy a beautiful waterfront sunset, watch the planes landing into the city or cozying up with friends – in any situation this is a great new spot DC is lucky to have!
They even have an outdoor fire pit that will warm you up if the night gets chilly. You can even ask for blankets to cuddle up under.
