We welcome you to the third installment of Meat Sweats – a tale of two hungry girls, Haley and Alli, who can’t get enough meat!
Part three of our steak saga at Fogo de Chão was accompanied by some “pour” decisions. In a recent press release, Fogo announced it had “partnered with VIK Winery, a holistic Chilean vineyard creating world-class wines, to offer its award-winning and best in category wines at Fogo de Chão locations nationwide.” I mean, WINE wouldn’t they? Nothing pairs better with a freshly grilled assortment than a good glass of red wine.
While we always have a blast [and sweats] at Fogo, we were particularly impressed with Vik’s “Vik” and “Milla Calla.” The steaks were high. Upon sipping, our spirits were even higher. The Vik pairs perfectly with the tender juiciness of the hot-off-the-grill meat. The wine has a delightful bouquet and is balanced in taste. We would highly recommend this pairing on a crisp fall day. Head over to Fogo and enjoy this pleasant pairing now!
