All-Purpose Pizzeria’s second location in Navy Yard has been much anticipated but the wait is finally OVER on April 3rd! They’re known for their local beer and seasonal dishes inspired by the Eastern U.S. and Italian Coastlines. The relaxed riverfront restaurant and gathering spot is across the street from Nationals Park and neighboring Audi Field.
Chef Mike and his team really knocked this one out of the ball park (get it?) =D

I can’t wait to go back and try their two frozen cocktails the Mario and Luigi, but it’s going to be hard to beat the Turner Slide!
INSALATA ‘PRIMAVERA’
shaved zucchini, green beans, red onion, caper, basil, tonnato sauce
Okay, this really blew me away and far surpassed my expectations. Despite being a dietitian I really don’t like salads so I wasn’t super excited for this but it just might have been my favorite thing I tried!
FRIED GARLIC ‘KNOTS’
lemon butter, chive, parm fonduta
The sauce is a perfect match for these little dough balls, delizioso!
APOLLO
tomato, mozz, porchetta, broccolini, cherry peppers, toasted sesame
Okay okay, a pie THIS good gets extra attention. This ‘za and the Rockaway are both exclusive to this location and wow did Chef Mike outdo him self with this one, the flavor profile is incredible! I love that the fresh veggies give the bite a little crunch.
SKILLET COOKIE
Just when we were beyond satisfied with the food and the experience, dessert came out to top it off, we polished off every last morsel of this cookie, to-die-for!
A little local love from another D.C. gem, Dolcezza which specializes in Gelato and whipped up this Hazelnut magic just for AP!

A delicately herbal digestivo & a citrusy, intense, peppermint & orange digestivo to wrap up the night.
A huge thank you & congratulations to Chef Mike & his team for the delicious food and personal experience. This place is a home run! (had to). Our server Willa was absolutely delightful.
