Take a trip one hundred years in the past at the 2018 DC Distillers Festival, held Saturday, February 24 at the Long View Gallery.

Attendees will sample more than 60 craft spirits from over 20 craft distillers while a 1920’s-style jazz band keeps you in the swing of things. Think of it like a party at the Gatsby mansion in West Egg. In fact, modern-Gatsby attire is suggested (not required), so, for the gents, it’s time to dust off that straw hat and those two-toned shoes. For the ladies, we’ll expect headbands and block T-strap heels. And of course, you should brush up on the Charleston – that’s the dance that truly brings the party!
Distillers include Belle Isle Craft Spirits, Ko Distilling, and Mt. Defiance Cidery & Distillery (from which, yes, you can itch that absinthe you’ve had), and liquors include all the food groups: bourbon, moonshine, whisky, gin, rum, and vodka.
