On March 23rd, One Journey is organizing a night to celebrate refugee entrepreneurship in the DMV area with a focus on art, food and storytelling. The fundraiser will feature food made by refugee and immigrant chefs under Foodhini (one of the hottest food startups in DC), 734 coffee made by a Sudanese refugee and an open bar with a variety of wines and beer.

You can expect to walk in and be inspired by the walls that will be covered with art created by refugees living in Greece, and a program filled with inspiring storytelling by Founder of Falafel Inc (DC restaurant of the year according to BuzzFeed) – Ahmad Ashkar, Ambassador of Jordan Her Excellency Dina Kawar, and Refugee and Girl’s Education Advocate – Marie-Claire Kaberamanzi.
