We are sad to report that after a great run, beloved Shaw / Logan foodie, industry, and neighborhood paradise, The Commodore, will close its doors on November 30, 2019.
Famous for their massive portions of solid comfort food like fried chicken, mac and cheese and greens plates, or their epic Legacy Burgers (ahem, The Hungry Lobbyist still available at all Rebellion locations), and a staff that was so welcoming, we as loyal regulars are honored to feature their goodbye letter and saddened to see them leave.
From Travis Weiss, Director of Culinary Concepts:
To all of our staff, regulars and irregulars,
It is with great sadness that we send this note out to everyone.
Unfortunately, we were not able to come to a lease extension agreement with our landlord and we have to hang up the old Diver helmet. These past 3 plus years have been so amazing. The way the neighborhood received us has far exceeded our expectations and we are forever grateful. We’ve had baby showers, engagements, thousands of Tinder dates and even a visit from Lord Stanley. To say that we couldn’t have done it without you is an understatement. We will forever be indebted to you and only hope that the relationships we’ve created here will continue on.
That being said, Saturday November 30th, 2019 will be our Last Call here at the Commodore. It’s going to be a day of mixed emotions, but let’s make it a day that will live on in infamy.
While you can still visit the other Rebellion locations, make sure you get in to the Commodore for one last Hungry Lobbyist burger before November 30th! We’ll sure miss hanging out with these fine folks.
