José Andrés is the man, we all know that. Which is why when he co-founded World Central Kitchen, everyone was all like, “Yeah, that’s nice, and makes since. Can you possibly be a nicer guy?” the world asked in their best Aziz Ansari voice impression.
The answer, is yes.
On June 25th you can wander (or stumble) through a culinary tour of some of DC’s best dining spots. A recent press announcement reads,
On Tuesday, June 25th, 2013 from 6 – 10:00pm guests can embark on a tour of some of the best dining destinations in DC. The wandering feast through Penn Quarter includes restaurants Azur, Jaleo, Oyamel, Poste, Proof and Zaytinya. At the featured locations guests may sample a selection of specialty plates and delectable cocktails. A VIP pass allows guests to begin their tour at 5:30pm and complete their meal with a stop at barmini alongside José Andrés himself.
Tickets for Dine N Dash start at $150 for the culinary tour and $350 for the VIP pass. All proceeds of the event will benefit World Central Kitchen in their efforts to find sustainable solutions to ending food insecurity and malnutrition in Haiti and the rest of the world.
