One of my favorite DC food events is coming up! DC’s “Taste of the Nation” takes place on Wednesday, April 19th at Nationals Park.
Event proceeds support No Kid Hungry, a national nonprofit that is working to end child hunger in America.
You can chow down on George Pagonis’ creations (Kapnos) and sip on Derek Brown’s cocktails (Columbia Room, Mockingbird Hill, Eat The Rich, Southern Efficiency) all while supporting an extremely worthy cause.
More than 90 top chefs and bartenders will be in attendance including local favorites Le Diplomate, Estadio, Osteria Morini, as well as Sweet Home Café, which was just nominated as a James Beard Semi-Finalist for Best New Restaurant!
Salivating yet? Go and buy your ticket now before the event sells out!
