Crawfish for Cancer DC Debuts Amazing New Location: Wunder Garten

Crawfish for Cancer’s Crawfish Boil fundraising event returns to DC for the seventh year – and in an exciting, convenient new location! The event has moved outside – where crawfish are meant to be eaten!

Saturday, April 20th at Wunder Garten in NoMa from 12-5pm!

Here are the facts:

It’s for a good cause

All proceeds from the event go to support fundraising for multiple myeloma cancer research. Multiple myeloma is a rare form of cancer that affects fewer than 200,000 people a year, also known as Kahler’s disease. Crawfish for Cancer DC raised over $40,000 in the past five years contributing to the organization’s total of $450,000.

All you can eat, all you can drink, all you can dance

Talk about the best deal in town. FIVE HOURS, of UNLIMITED crawfish, potatoes, sausage and corn. Not to mention, an open bar of beer, wine and signature cocktails. Live music playing all day, lots of food in bellies and a really good time. Last year over 400 people attended the DC Crawfish Boil and this year they are expecting even more!

Ticket prices go up as the event draws near

Tickets are $70 until 11:30PM March 29. From April 12 to April 19, tickets are $80. Tickets at the door are $100. Ticket holders also receive special drink deals at pre and post event parties hosted by Crawfish for Cancer DC!

It comes from a good place

Crawfish for Cancer was founded by James Crowell in 2008 in honor of his father, who passed away in 2014 after fighting multiple myeloma for several years. The event was started at Williams College by James and his classmates. After graduating, James and his friends continued to support fundraising all over the country in various cities. The event now takes place in 9 cities:
