Tulips, which opened a few months ago in the former Irish Whiskey space in Dupont, might just have the best brunch deal in the city. The $28 bottomless brunch menu includes unlimited mimosas, bellinis, Bloody Mary’s, beignets, oysters, AND one entree.
Entree options include Belgian waffles, bagel and lox, omelettes, a breakfast sandwich, a burger, and a benedict. Tulips’ take on the bellini was really great, featuring champagne with a spiced pear liqueur instead of peach juice. We sampled the range of cocktails on the regular bar menu as well. I’m happy to report that they were as delicious as they were photogenic. Plus, what other bottomless brunch in the city makes you feel super fancy with tray after tray of oysters?! If you’re battling between sweet or savory for your meal, the addition of beignets to the list of bottomless options adds just enough sweetness to satisfy the sugar craving.
The brunch at Tulips is perfect for large groups, and the decor of exposed brick, chandeliers, and namesake tulips create a nice vibe inside. If you and your friends are looking for a new place for bottomless brunch, definitely put Tulips on your list!
Tulips doesn’t just do brunch! Their Monday-Friday happy hour features $1 oysters (4pm-7pm) and $1 champagne (4pm-5pm). On Tuesdays, you can buy tickets for ‘Bouquets & Bubbles’ – a floral arranging class featuring bottomless champagne and passed hors d’oeuvres.
