Tickets: DC Beerathon

Beer. Beer. Beer.

It’s time again for the 2014 DC Beerathon on Nov. 8th, and this year’s looks better than ever. See their press release below.

For the third straight year, 26 of DC’s best bars and restaurants are gearing up for the DC Beerathon, a suds-fueled tour of 26 craft and premium beers, on Saturday, November 8. Participants will enjoy a different 12-ounce craft or premium brew at each venue included in their ticket as they stroll around U Street, Dupont, 14th Street and Farragut Square hotspots.

Some of the participating venues and featured beers are: Sauf Haus (Veltins Pilsner), Piola (Traveler Pumpkin Shandy), Nellie’s (Smuttynose IPA), Maddy’s (Monocacy Riot Rye), Fainting Goat (DC Brau The Corruption IPA), 1905 (New Belgium Blue Paddle Pilsner), Bin 1301 (DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus), Ben’s Next Door (Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA), Irish Whiskey (Great Lakes Eliot Ness), Buffalo Billiards (Abita Pecan Harvest), Rebellion (Palm Belgian Ale), Amsterdam Falafelshop on 14th Street (Amstel Radler), and Larry’s Lounge (Starr Hill Grateful Pale Ale).

Guests will enjoy these beers along with specials on food pairings and the featured beers (should they want more after their first, included serving).

The crowd will begin their day by checking in from 11:00am-3:00pm at Black Jack (with Union Craft Brewing Duckpin Pale Ale) or James Hoban’s (with Harp), and then proceed in whatever order and pace they choose during this unique all-day tasting tour. A full color map with all 26 locations and beers will be provided at check in.

A portion of all ticket sales will benefit Ranger Lead The Way Fund and Mama Hope.

Tickets and full information are at www.DCBeerathon.com. Tickets begin at $65.00 per person. The event concludes when bars close later that evening.

You do the math, it’s a no brainer.

Cheers!
