Cali Burger brings a taste of SoCal to Wunder Garten

Summer may be coming to an end, but there’s still time to enjoy a beautiful night out with your best friend. Located in NoMa, Wunder Garten is a beautiful outdoor beer garden where you can enjoy some cold brews with your four-legged and two-legged friends. On Friday evening, we were treated to classic 90’s tunes by the pawsome DJ Ruben. In addition to a live DJ, the place offers a variety of activities like corn hole and a giant chess game to keep the humans entertained. Water bowls are provided throughout the patio and the friendly bartenders are there to refill your water for your thirsty canines. In addition to bench-style tables, the garden features lounge seating and bean bags, which make the place extra comfy. Well-behaved canines are even allowed on the sofa!

Humans will enjoy a wide selection of famous German beers and craft beers. When they get hungry, they can grab a hamburger or cheeseburger from the Cali Burger food truck.

At the Cali Burger food truck you can get a classic Cali-style hamburger or cheeseburger. What makes it “Cali-style” you ask? Secret sauce! Any true SoCal native will tell you that no cheeseburger is complete without secret sauce (aka Thousand Islands). Add some seasoned cut fries or if you’re feeling adventurous try their fries “Cali Style.” The fries, which include secret sauce, melted cheese and sweet onions, are reminiscent of In-N-Out’s animal-style fries. The food is fresh, made-to-order, and pairs excellently with a cold beer. Cali Burger has successfully brought the taste of SoCal to DC.

The “Cali Double” Two beef patties, two slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and of course secret sauce.
Want to add some pizazz to your fries? Get them “Cali Style.” Seasoned fries smothered in melted cheese, sweet onions, and secret sauce.
Mmmm……reminds me of In-N-Out
Pro tip: After a successful night of friends, beer, and food, don’t fall asleep at the bar
